A Day in the Yard
In all 24 years that I have lived at the same address, I have never had mushroom in the yard, and now, a small crop of Agaricus campestris.
The birds are going nuts (or is that seeds) over the bird feeder. We had a group of bushtits swing by this afternoon and look forlornly (I'm sure I saw it) for the suet block that has, for the past several years, hung from the bird feeder, as shown in this photo.
So tomorrow, that goes up too.
After a year without a yard, I'm having a great time! I hope everyone with a yard is enjoying it......
