A skylight opened in the clouds today for about an hour around noon. A group of about 40 crows cavorted on the warm south wind, their black wings turning silver in the sunlight. Heard a chickadee and possibly a Cooper's hawk. Some house finches were flitting around.
Bushtits swarmed the suet feeder about 1:15. They arrive in a group of about 25, but there's always a few stragglers who remain after the big group moves off.
The wind picked up this afternoon—looks like we are going to have a big blow!
